Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her leading roles in many television series however, she also has impressive roles in films. Her popularity is shared by the world of Canadian as well as American television. Emily first became interested when she saw her sister Katie doing a movie. Once she discovered her passion for acting, she began to take acting classes and went for auditions. She began with some commercials, but soon got selected as a child actress on the Canadian television show, Are You Scared of Darkness? The show only featured her in one scene with no dialogue. On the WB program Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry at the age of 15. Emily's role in the show by WB Glory Days, which was canceled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily is an artist and ballerina, was recognized by Teen magazine as one the most talented actresses under the age of 20. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her as top 51.
